The Search For Southern Order
November 13-15, 2026
Join us for the inaugural event of The Bradford Institute.
The main lectures will be presented on Saturday, November 14. The theme of this meeting will be twofold: a discussion of the continued influence of M.E. Bradford on our understanding of the American South, and the pivotal role that Christian values have played in the Southern story. (A lecture on a new book about Shelby Foote is anticipated as well.)

The Location
Camp St. Christopher, located on Seabrook Island in the South Carolina lowcountry, is a throwback property to the way the Carolina coastline used to look like. Nature takes over, and reminds us of our place in the created order. One of the most pristine coastlines of South Carolina. A place where memories will definitely be made.
